If you are in the business of personal coach marketing then how you present yourself and your business is probably going to establish the sort of customer that you attract. Those who don't spend a while studying fitness selling may find that they constantly get clients from the bottom end of the market.
Growing your personal trainer business requires time and successful personal coaches achieve their status because they have focused on something that sets them apart from others who are in the business of fitness marketing. Unless you can make yourself stick out from the competition then you will never be ready to charge increased rates for your services. Sometimes people use techniques to market themselves that you may not have thought of,eg getting testimonials from people.
One of the things that all successful personal coach promoting exercises depend on is a unique selling point, something that makes them stick out from the competition. What most successful marketing relies upon is coming up with a concept that will alter the public perception of their business. If you know someone that actually looks fit then perhaps they're going to let you use their image to market your business in return for some free training. When you get someone who looks actually fit to let you use their picture and write a testimonial then it is likely that other folks's perception of you as a private trainer is probably going to change.
if you'd like to make more money out of your business then you actually do have to get tuned in to fitness promoting. No matter how many certificates you have or how great you yourself look, unless you can find a means of marketing your services then you'll never make a lot of cash as a personal trainer. Most small businesses stand or fall on how well and how consistently they're promoted by their owner. It is no good telling yourself that you are a personal trainer not a salesperson, if you don't promote yourself and get into fitness selling then no one is going to do it for you.
just as with any other service industry, you are getting paid for your time and if you're going to achieve success then you need to be in a position to charge the highest rates for your time. It's not just your expertise that separates you from other private coaching pros, it is how you sell that expertise and the sort of market that you attract - that is why you need to develop a singular selling point. What have you got to give your potential clients that your competitors don't? When you're marketing yourself and your business you need to focus on the price that you offer your clients. One of the reasons you should get somebody actually fit to lend their image to your promotional materials is that prospective clients see that image as a part of the price that you have got to offer. Once this is recognized your success rate should start to become better.
